Never-Ending Worship
“Day and night they never stop saying: ‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come.’” (Revelation 4:8)
This verse gives a glimpse into heaven, and what stands out immediately is this: worship never stops.
These living creatures are not bored. They are not repeating empty words. They are responding to Someone so awesome, so overwhelming, that they cannot help but keep declaring it: God is holy.
Not just holy once. Not just holy sometimes. Holy, holy, holy, completely set apart, perfect in every way, beyond anything we can fully grasp.
And here is the part most people miss. They never grow tired of it. Why? Because God, like His Word, is not static. Every moment, He reveals more of who He is, and it fuels fresh awe, fresh worship, over and over again.
Compare that to how easily worship can become routine. It is easy to sing words without thinking, to pray without engaging, to treat God like something familiar instead of Someone holy.
This passage is a reset. It reminds us that worship is not about music style or setting. It is about seeing and worshiping God rightly.
When you truly experience God, worship is not forced. It is inevitable.
